Lucknow University, Lucknow and Center of Biomedical Magnetic Resonance, SGPGI, Lucknow have launched a one year (Two Semester) course program  on Magnetic Resonance leading to the M.Phil. Degree.

This is a Post-Graduate highly professional job oriented course for career and opportunities in Physical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Medical, Biomedical, Plant and Materials Sciences, Academic and Industrial Institutions.

Highlights

1.         Duration of the course

  • M.Phil Magnetic Resonance (MRI & MRS) is a one year program divided into two semesters.

 2.         Objectives of the course

  • To prepare trained personnel in the area of Magnetic Resonance for highly skilled professional and top positions in industrial, R&D Centers, Plant Sciences, Medical and Biomedical Research and academic institutions           

 

3.         Number of Seats

  • Total intake to the M.Phil Magnetic Resonance (MRI & MRS) program shall be 25 students.

  •  Sponsored candidates will be admitted separately. The seats for such students will be over the number of regular seats.

  • The reservation policy will be adopted as per UP Government Notifications issued from time to time and according to University rules.

 

4.         Eligibility

  • The students seeking admission to the M.Phil Magnetic Resonance (MRI & MRS) program should have passed M. Sc. or possessing Post-Graduate degree in medical sciences having a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from a University established by law.

 

5.         Admission Process

  • The admission will be done on the basis of merit made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Post Graduation examination/Test as per policy of the University of Lucknow.  

 

6.         Course Content

  • The first semester will involve theory and practical classes followed by semester end examinations.

  • The second semester will comprise of project work which will be submitted in the form of a dissertation. This will be followed by a presentation and evaluation.
